There is a growing technician shortage across the country. Over 642,000 automotive technician openings are expected by 2025. This shortage threatens the stability of not only repair shops and dealerships, but also the entire transportation industry. Rather than wait for talent to appear, we have decided to create it ourselves.
Our 24-month apprenticeship program is a structured and immersive experience that goes beyond simply filling positions. It is designed to build strong careers, provide mentorship, and ensure every participant is fully equipped to succeed in today’s fast-paced, ever-changing automotive environment.
The Goose Auto Apprenticeship Program is about more than just technical skills. It offers a direct path toward meaningful, long-term careers. From the very first day, apprentices are placed in real-world scenarios, learning directly from industry professionals while developing the work ethic, character, and confidence they will carry throughout their careers.
Participants also receive a professional-grade tool kit, valued at nearly $2,000, ensuring they are prepared for every challenge. This is not an internship or a temporary placement—it is a chance to grow with a company that values your success as much as you do.
Our commitment to excellence is supported by powerful partnerships. Through our collaboration with O’Reilly’s Real World Training, apprentices receive advanced education in diagnostics, electrical systems, modern A/C repairs, hybrid technology, and much more. This training ensures they stay up to date with the most relevant skills for today’s vehicles.
We are also proud to work alongside Southern Careers Institute, an organization that provides high-quality technical education. With their support, students can transition directly from the classroom to a full-time career at Goose Auto Repair. Together, we offer a seamless path from learning to earning.
